Belgium Restaurant
Abbaye - Reasonable prices for good food, cafe bar
style. Speciality: Mussels and fries (moules-frites) and Belgium
beers.
British Restaurants
Maggy Jones - Modern English, very good food (especially
the Specials of the Day) and pay as much as you drink only.
Cosy and "different"
The Collection - Very pricey and average but trendy and
famous people may be seen there!
The Blue Bird - Conran Restaurant, average food but again
trendy and "place to be seen".
Chinese Restaurants
The Cantonese Canteen
French Restaurant
Rotisserie Jules - Speciality: delicious roasted chicken.
Very cheap and cheerful.
Danish Restaurant
Lundum - Not cheap but really quite good; Speciality:
fish.
Italian Restaurant
Pierino's - Traditional Italian food, very good value
for money.
La Papardella - Also traditional Italian, good pizzas
at good prices.
Riccardo's - Tapas style, Good food at reasonable prices.
Indian Restaurants
Cafe Lazeez - Reasonably good food but good atmosphere
with Live Jazz music on Friday, sat and Sunday pm; also great
for a late night drink.
Nizam - Good food not cheap, friendly service.
Kare Kare- Awarded restaurant, pricey.
Steak house/Bistro
Black & Blue - Good steaks & salads, above
average prices.
Tootsies - Good burgers and reasonably priced.
P.J's - Mixed, good reasonably priced food, nice bar
too.
Spanish Restaurant
Cambio De Tercio - Spanish, good food average prices.
Thai Restaurant
Blue Elephant - Not cheap but quite good food. Always
ask to sit in the back as it is nicer.
Patara - Excellent Thai food, pricey but worth it!
The Churchill - Pub serving excellent Thai food. Limited
menu but excellent value for money.
Pubs
The Hereford Arms - Good food at a reasonable price,
some seating outside.
The Drayton - Nice atmosphere.
Angleses Arms - Traditional pub with outside seating,
food's good but not that cheap.
Duke of Clarence
Clubs
606 Jazz Club - Good food, semi professional, artists,
good value.
Bar Cuba - Late night bar, food is average, dancing downstairs.
